Over-the-side immersion heaters or top- mount immersion heaters, are designed especially for a vigorous application in a corrosive chemicals, viscous (potentially contaminated) surroundings, and also in a rinsing process of water heating. Constructed of multiple heater elements, these heaters are designed to be located over the side of a tank, or from an access port.
