01. THERMOCOUPLE
Thermocouple is installed directly in the process medium, which chan be corrosive and at high temperature. A variety of thermocouple wire types is available to cover the range o temperature from -184 to +-2330 C. Thermocouple wires are generally selected to provide as linear as possible a temperature-emf relation. Depending on an application’s process temperature range, accuracy specifcations, and material compatibility, thermocouples are available in Type E, Type J, Type K, Type R, Type S, Type T and other dissimilar metals.
Applications
• Food Service Equipment Industry Temperature Sensors • Plastics Equipment Industry Temperature Sensors • Process Industries Temperature Sensors (chemical and petrochemical processing, metal treating, power generation, waste treatment, and diesel engine testing)
02. RESISTANCE TEMPERATURE DETECTORS (RTD)
Electric resistance of a metal changes at a fxed rate according to temperature changes. The resistance bulb uses this property to measure temperature. Theoretically, any metal may be used, but because of characteristics such as constant resistance change with temperature, interchangeability and high temperature coeffcient, there are few metals suitable for application.
03. TEMPERATURE SENSOR ACCESSORIES
o Thermocouple Head o Terminal Blocks o Ceramic Tubes o Thermocouple Connector o Compression Fittings
04. MINERAL INSULATED THERMOCOUPLES
Mineral insulated thermocouples consist of an outer metal shield that insulates the thermocouple elements from damage and contamination, this insulation is fexible that makes mineral insulated thermocouples can be easily bent and formed into various shapes according to customers’ application. The inner thermocouple elements are sheathed with magnesium oxide powder, tightly packed to avoid air from being trapped inside, which in the end creates a great thermal conductivity.
